Trying to get trackmania to work with my controller, I ran into a very bizarre issue. I hope this is the right place for the post.Īm i missing something? (I know you can hide ghosts with 'g')
It didn't find anything wrong with the game.Īs fas as other common questions go, or things i already tried:Game is up-to-dateWindows as well (Win 10, 21H2)Graphics driver was not (GeForce Game Ready 472.12), but is now (496.76)started the game as administratordoes occur with and without OpenPlanet installed (no other addon's installed)
This problem does persist between map reloads, game restarts and PC restarts. Those are just randomly selected as i currently didn't want to go through all tracks. I didn't find a map for the current campaign just now. When playing the older campaign tracks i noticed that a lot of them don't show the gold medal ghosts, but they do show my current Personal Best as well as the silver and bronze medal ghosts, if i switch to them. I normally drive against the maps gold medal to get an idea of the map, lines as well as route (i'm currently a tad behind gold, until i i'm not ? ). I recently picked up Trackmania and am currently still learning the game. IG: Glypheon, club access, I'm available if you need any other information. This is after reinstalling TM to check if that was solving the first issue. The loading screen sends me back to the selection menu. II'm also unaible to play traditionally as I cannot join any map, from the campaign, totd or other. Update2: My maps don't get recognized by TM anymore, the files are still there but in game the folders they're in are empty. Update: I get a similar message for replays ("Couldn't load the replay.") for any version of the map while replays of other maps don't show this message when loaded.
I suspect it has been flagged by the servers which is why it won't be loaded in any state but I don't know if that's the case. I tried opening other maps with the editor and regular play and I have no issue there, only on the mentionned map. Relaunching Trackmania did not fix the issue and I haven't found any previous thread with the same problem. The fact that any previous version is also inaccessible even in the editor means I can't test if the problem comes from the size of the map or some other source. This happened after putting my map on the TOTD review server before the update, I then updated the game and from that point on I couldn't load either the version I put on the server OR any previous versions of the map.
This is also the PS4 version, the same one with the Chemical Plant bug.I encounter a "Couldn't load map!" message when trying to open this map ( ) every time, with both the map editor and regular play. This is the second game breaking bug I came across that not only needed a restart, and cost me a huge chunk of level progress, but the second one inside the first four zones of the game. The control were completely locked up with the only thing I was able to do was slightly move Sonic up and down. Not only did the game force Sonic and Tails onto the animation for latching onto a pole during wind sections outside of the ship, the ship's insides got darkened to replicate thunder clouds, and the sound began completely glitching out. There was an electric shield box, so I grabbed that and suddenly the entire game just went completely insane. Accidentally found a hidden invincibility box on the way down and reentered the ship. Came to an outdoor section of the ship that started from the top of the screen and wanted me to proceed to the bottom left. Was going through Flying Battery Zone Act 2 and got near the end of the level, about five minutes into it.
